'The city that never sleeps' - one of the terms most widely used to describe Mumbai, and one that is the most apt.  Always busy, always moving, this is a city that extends its arms to all those who come to it to make a living. There are may good companies in Mumbai to work for - Capgemini, Accenture, Deloite, Mastek, i-flex, Hexaware, TCS, Patni......the list goes on and on.....

SEEPZ (SANTACRUZ ELECTRONICS EXPORTS PROCESSING ZONE) is bursting to the seams with software companies.  With many major companies having more than one of their offices there, it can informally be called the IT Hub of Mumbai.  Apart from Seepz, there are many companies, big and small, along the Western suburbs, like Andheri, Goregaon, etc;.  

Powai is another place which is slowly and surely finding a strong foothold among the IT companies.  With its lush greenery and scenic environs, people have started preferring that place over the others.  

Also, certain areas of Navi Mumbai like Mahape, Vashi, etc; used to and continue to house some major IT Companies.

Onsite opportunites have gone down, because of major offshore model. but people do get chance to come to USA on H1b, L1, B1.
